This wine’s story: Stephen Amell loves his Malbec. We held off on producing one for the first few years of running Nocking Point until Stephen insisted it was time. We were hung up and couldn’t come up with a name until one late night dinner with Italia Ricci in Atlanta. “Guys, call it ‘A Malbec'” (or at least that’s what we thought she said!). We looked at her like she was crazy and she said it again: “A MAL-BEC”. We still didn’t get it. “AMELL-BEC” she repeated again as though we were idiots. The third time is always the charm and here you have it, “AMELL-BEC”, created by Stephen Amell and named by Italia Ricci!
